South Carolina State MuseumThe largest museum in the Southeastern United States, the South Carolina State Museum is an amazing collection of exhibitions of art, natural history, culture, science and technology. Housed in the historic Columbia Mills Building on the Congaree River, this museum honors South Carolina's culture, history and lifestyle with hundreds of permanent and rotating exhibits including the first American-built locomotive and a recreation of a Megalodon dinosaur.

Prices -$7 adults, $6 seniors (62 & over), $5 children (ages 2-13), free infants (2 & under)
